John, Actually in all the companies you mention in the fibre optic market you like the rest of the worl neglect the one with real customers real revenues and real earnings CIEN. Therein might lie their problem. I'm serious! (half). Once you have earnings, you have to grow them just right, or you get trashed. Hey, I didn't make it that way. As for the company Maffei went to, I'm sure he had numerous opportunities. I know what JDSU does, and also a little about those others too. Tony
