Fred:
Just found this thread. I talk to Gord Friezen about once a week plus getting all releases by fax. I bought high almost three years ago based on concept. My impressions are: considerably lighter because of size and ability to do more in smaller space, lower cost because of less working parts and greater allowable dimensional tolerances in some parts, I pointed out to him that the tests results that they got on the compresser in Michigan were meaningless other than qualitatively it would compress a gas. They should design and test at about 92 degrees dry bulb and about 87 degrees wet bulb, not 70 and 10 which is probably about the test conditions inside the lab in February. I dont think that most understand that most of the cooling goes to condensation of moisture in air and not reducing temperature.
When I bought this one I looked at it like buying IBM or CocaCola in 1920. Dont know how far it will go but long term it is a potential moon shot. Frankly I dont check the stock price but about once per month. Developments, when they finally come to fruition, and projected profits will move stock. Hype will probably not move the stock again because the company has created too many disbelievers with early hype. Getting in too early before an engine actually ran was my fault. If I remember correctly, when it quadruples I will be about break even. However if it is applicable to all Carnot and Otto cycles, the price paid is almost unimportant. At this point, the key is the durability tests. Likelyhood of success are 100 times greater now than when I bought.
Did you get the announcement today on antennae?
John
