I don't disagree with you MAurice.
The proviso to my view is the forseeable future (2 .. 5 years)
Now it may be 18months, who knows.

Web clipping and WAP are deployed now. Moderate wireless data
speeds will be available late next year. The step may be transitionary,
but it will be made. Whether the networks go beyond these moderate speeds will be determined by the service providers, who will. IMO, be tardy in introducing new technology while they can milk the older technology to the hilt.
