Q4 Sysnopsis Part III So why didn't the company give us a heads up on the additional shares? The answer is simple, the company did not know until the last minute, just what the number of shares would be. Apparently, the calculation involved is a rather lengthy and complicated one. It requires hundreds of pages of spreadsheet analysis as well as the accountants having to sign off, which didn't happen until we saw the actual numbers. Nothing intentionally misleading or underhanded as some would have it. Just normal accounting.
