Gary Lyons did business with the underwriters. Silverman used, correctly IMO, the "ever" word. The stock was promoted to this level by salespeople. You are absolutely correct. Only trouble is, I'd rather have MZ giving me the spiel.

I worked for underwriters. If you do a good job and kill a deal because the science stinks, you don't get asked back to do another job. When another underwriter gets the company funding, and and the company crashes/burns a few years later...... what happens when you go back to the guys/gals that hired you? They say "great job, you called that one correctly!"

Do you get more work? No. They count on short memories, and on the ability to palm "loser" shares off onto others -- after the underwriting fee is in their pocket. You may like to watch the game as it's currently set up. I don't.
