3. INPR has the number one CORBA ORB on Linux Depends on how you measure it, if you count the stuff embedded in netscape, they may have the numbers, but that is a very limited application for an orb. Meanwhile, Gnome has been shipping with Orbit (open source) since the beta days and KDE is either shipping with another orb, or will be with the 2.0 release. Both orbs are very functional, free and have a huge installed base. 4. They are the first to ship Linux SQL database. MySQL has been available for linux for many years now, both open-source for projects that are "free" and commercial for, well, commercial applications.
