I shall never forget my husband's dragging me on a hiking trip, knowing full well my fear of heights. We'd hiked together before--always a mistake, since he seemed determined to set speed records--but the sheer rock face with iron rungs was really asking a bit much. I retraced our route and let him pick me up. We are no longer married.
