O.K., here's a silly hiking story.

My husband and I were hiking in the Adirondacks and were inspired by one of those little shelters, nothing but a bench under a roof and a table. So we hit the table. First, he starts to bleed like a son of a bitch from a bit of glass embedded in the table.

But wait, there's more!

We were at that crucial moment when we heard voices! We managed to "get there" and look like normal people when the voices materialized: It was a group of nuns hiking the trail.
