sorry to hear that. I guess I'm lucky cause the woman I married has been willing to hike just about anywhere.... A few years ago we hiked the entire immigrant trail from donner lake to Nevada City (near lone grave off highway 20). The last place I took her was tick infested (Manassas National Battlefield park). But I'd never seen a tick before so it took awhile to realize they weren't spiders.... we ran the heck out of that area there were hundreds and hundreds of them. There is always hope and life always goes on. So I hope you don't have to face that situation again (against your will).... David
