Dump junk ... Win98 CDs come with a utility Tweak-UI which usually requires installation. Tweak-UI has an option of automatically 'covering your tracks' by removing the 'left-overs' from your net surfing. Once installed, click the Paranoia tab and select what junk you want removed. Another approach... Make a .BAT file to delete unwanted junk and use Task Scheduler to run it whenever you want. Nice thing is, once you set it up you never need give the matter another thought. Last choice... Manually get rid of things. I don't like this option because it requires me to remember both to do it and what to do: a big challenge. I usually empty IE cache, OE old e-mails, .TMP files, .BAK files, the TEMP folder, the Cookies folder ... Cheers, and Merry Christmas, PW.
