RTROC - News / Profile (NasdaqSC) Retrospettiva, Inc., supplies moderately priced
women's apparel under its customers' labels on a private label basis exclusively in the
United States. The Company provides its products to national retailers, wholesalers,
catalogs, and design and manufacturing organizations. Retrospettiva contracts for the
manufacture of its finished products after customers place purchase orders. RTROC
markets a variety of garments, primarily basic women's sportswear, including suits,
skirts, blouses, blazers, pants, shorts, vests and dresses.
For the six months ended 6/30/99, sales fell 27% to $10.9 million. Net income fell 79%
to $128 thousand.
We released RTROC to our subscribers when it was at .78 It hit it's 52 week low
(.6875) on 12/21. It reports a low float - only 1.4 million shares. They have been
releasing a lot of good news lately. They could be reporting bigger earnings after the
Christmas season and we believe that it is only a matter of time until RTROC is picked
up by some of the Big Brokers on Wall Street and we see a new 52 week high.
