I wonder how representative you are of the broad mass of ATHM investors. For your sake and mine, I hope you are typical. To state the obvious, your post might be a nice signal of investor sentiment, suggesting that the latest dip is driven in part by tax-loss selling, and that January will see an upturn in the share price. All of which suggests you would do best to disregard your emotions and hang on unless the tax-loss benefit to you outweighs the risk of losing future returns as this stock rebounds.
