Henk, thanks for your discussion of holding companies and for 'thinking out loud' about various strategies to find value. No apologies necessary, IMO, regardless of outcome, or for wandering "Off Topic", whatever that means. Personally, I think ANY attempt to find value in this market should be vigorously encouraged. Further, one of the best threads on SI was the old Qualcomm thread precisely because it welcomed a broad discussion of wireless communication issues--even if that meant getting a little silly at times--and the very notion of 'off topic' was ludicrous. It's trashed now: 85% of the posts are about price action, volume, arcane chart patterns, while the other 15% consist of "Go Qualcomm" and other mindless cheerleading rants.
