I don't own or use a mac. the one reason not to short apple at this time is because it's still an event driven stock and the mother of all events is coming 1st wk of Jan--macworld. and I just read Heinz's remarks about LINUX... the new macOS is based on UNIX... not claiming to be an expert, but a LINUX port is probably a lot easier than many think. disclosure: locked and loaded.
