And here in Canada, for the 4 trades I placed through a trader rather than WebBroker, I had to listen to their music on hold for almost 30-35 seconds each time.

Which is absolutely atrocious. ;-) I'm used to getting a live answer directly by a trader.

Somehow I'm beginning to believe there's a lot of very pampered people with some absolutely unrealistic expectations.

Find me a full service broker that will give you confirmation of execution as quickly as Waterhouse. Anywhere!
