I think you or your ML rep has mixed up two issues: Shareholders of record on 12/23 will be credited with the split (note: this is a legal statement; if you buy the stock after 12/23, you will STILL get the split). The actual split date will be 12/30 at the close of the market. Actually, the stock won't begin trading at the split price until Friday, 12/31. Ho, ho, ho, unq
