Try the zinc lozenges with vit. c. They really do reduce the severity of a cold if taken at the beginning of symptoms. I was amazed at the result when I used them. Cold-eze is a brand sold in drug stores. But the real zinc lozenges work even better than Cold-eze brand IMO.
