Above all else...All the trading talk.... All the Kudos and swipes at Tim....All the focus each day at the action of CS...
I want to wish you all the merriest Christmas, today.
This also applies to Chanukah (over two weeks ago), Quanza and any other way you choose to celebrate the season.
This is the time for us to gather up and give away the love and goodwill that is really important in our lives.
We can also celebrate our good fortune or moan about our losses... I've seen an abundance of both here. And I want to slap the backs of the winners and hug and encourage those who've been less than fortunate.
For my part, I've much to be thankful about. Having held CS since last May, I feel I'm doing quite well. More than makes up for my internut losses of last year...And I make no bones about the fact that I have TIm Luke to thank for it.
But in larger sense I have much, much more to be thankful about regarding my health... Two weeks ago, I sucessfully completed my second (of two) cancer surgeries. All appears to be going well and I feel that I now have the rest of my life to look forward to. What else can be more important??
Many folks from here and elsewhere (notably from the WSI), have extended me their hopes, good will, and even their prayers for my recovery during all this.
Please let me state my gratitude for all this, publicly... I feel that this is a whole new group of friends for me. But here, out of nowhere, I felt that I had lots of people pulling for me, as they wheeled into the O.R....and you know what?? It really helped.
I post here very little, and with the format change, I may have even less to say... I guess that make me mostly a lurker (hate that term!!!).
But please accept from the quiet corner (or the cheap seats, LOL), my very best wishes, during this special time.
