As odious as Rocker's rant was, we still have a pesky little First Amendment that is always in opposition to our gut reactions in cases like this. If Rocker feels a need to do some community service to atone for his acts, so be it. But for anyone to order him to do it is another matter.
It is playing right into the craziness of the modern culture to take the position that Atlanta can't be expected to get rid of him because he is such a good player, but trampling on the First Amendment is acceptable.
