That particular poster had been terrorizing the sunw and aapl threads for months. Posts were limited in style strictly to antagonistic blather and provocational offense; I believe SI had received some complaints. His own profile was written that he enjoyed "yanking people's chains on SI"

Then, rather suddenly, nearly overnight, everything changed. Postings became reasonable, rational, and even nice. Additionally, the profile was re-written to something more 'sedate'.

Divine Intervention? SI intervention? Hale-Bopp? Take your pick.
