hey kznerd,
"well, shakespeare, he's in the alley with his pointed shoes and his bells, speaking to some french girl, who says she knows me well and i would send a message to find out if she's talked, but the post office has been stolen and the mailbox is locked"

i often wonder how much dylan has borrowed from the bard himself. i am sure it must be substantial, if only through influence alone. don't you agree? and the same can be said for having borrowed from the bible, and t.s.eliot and jimmie rodgers and on and on... i see his light come shining, and his reflection someplace so high above the wall, you know? <g3>
glad to hear you are well. yes, it has been a very good year for me. i have discovered (finally, beyond any doubt) that none of us has any idea whatsoever what is going to happen in life. this has added great joy and assuredness to my daily rituals. i will go to my grave and still have never figured out the awesome beauty and power of the world we live in. or as bob would say, i feel like a prisoner in a world of mystery...
thanks for saying "hi", kznerd
:)
