Off-Christmas topic: I am sitting here reading an "audio porn" magazine (you know - comparative reviews of $10000 preamplifiers, $60000 speakers and all that) (a borrowed copy - I somehow thought it important to mention that) (I read it for the articles...) and a line item in an ad caught my eye. An outfit is selling welded-steel rackage for all that pricey electronic gear. Here's what caught my eye: "Durian" finish makes the rack extremely scratch resistant. Something about that ... stinks.
