A indisputable fact is each and every business, IPO, spin etc will ultimately be valued in this way....some sooner than others

What if they aren't? What if there is so much money piling into the market that investors are willing to accept a different valuation metric unrelated to the "old" way of doing business? What if that persists for years or decades? What if the whole venture capital cycle has been moved into the public markets and the line between development and operating companies disappears?

Think outside the box for a minute.

This is precisely what I'm talking about. The current valuation bubble/wave never should have happened. It never should have lasted.

But it did. And it has.

Show me the analyst or academic who has figured that one out yet. I haven't seen it. They are all too busy walking on eggshells every time someone interviews them on CNBC.

It's either a brave new world or fool's gold. But making hard fast bets one way or another is a sucker's bet for now.
