>Now, why do I have 4 computers, and a Palm Pilot, cable modem, and why >do I still crave more speed? Why?
Probably has something to do with that gaping hole in your chest that most people fill with a soul.
Just because you found some quotes of people saying people would never need a computer, does NOT allow you to make a step of logic and say that therefore anyone who says the market is overvalued is wrong. You'd be flunked out of a debate 101 class, and laughed out of a boolean logic class.
Using your pathetic attempt at reasoning, the guys who said the Japanese market was overvalued in 1989 must have been completely wrong. After all, this technology was being BUILT in japan. Certainly their market could NEVER be overvalued.
Oh, except, oh darn, 10 years later, their stock market is less than HALF the value that it was in 1989. I guess buy and hold didnt work so well, huh? But that's in a totallly different country- right? Those crazy japanese arent a fair example. I mean, their educational system is terrible. Their children actually learn things like math and engineering and business production.... Here in the US we teach them the only thing that really matters- how to IPO and retire without ever earning a dime in profit!
That's the american way! God Bless America! We are right because the market is going up and the market is going up because we are right! Endless profits are a god-given right to every american who is smart enough to invest their 401k in Ebay! I HAVE SEEN THE LIGHT!!! |
