After this Christmas the weak and marginal will be culled-out. Their access to capital will dry up. That will leave strongest players even stronger.

Then, I imagine 2000 will be the "revenge of the sleeping giants". Just like IBM tries to be Sun, Wal-Mart will unveil to great fanfare its outsourced store for the common surfer. We'll all watch closely as pepboys.com battles chiefauto.com. And the networks thought they had it good THIS year!
