Ok- EXACTLY what is wrong with the "structure" of education. You keep repeating this but I want 10 concrete examples of problems with the "structure".

What (exactly) is the "socialist" model of education? Please define this so we can all understand.

Our local schools try to meet the needs of their "customers" too. Of course they have a lot more "customers" and lots of those "customers" have significant problems- as well as the fact that the parents of Montessori kids are a lot more involved than public school parents, as well as more educated and more affluent. Let's address that issue.

I don't know what you think the monopoly system of the former USSR has in common with school systems run by LOCAL school boards. They have the power to confront local issues- what they do not have in many cases is the money. I can only speak for California- where we used to be close to number 1 in per capita student spending and we are now fallen very low (although I didn't realize we had fallen to 49th).
