We cannot be absolutely sure that Jesus was an Aries, Lorrie. This new theory on his birthdate is exciting because of its scientific underpinnings. However, other people studying the situation have believed that he might have been born in late July, which would make him a Leo.

The only thing which is certain is that he was not born any time close to late December. Shepherds would not have been out there with their flocks in weather that cold, and Mary would not have been running around nine months' pregnant. This is a fairly well-written discussion of Jesus' birth date, from a minister:

What I cannot personally understand is how men looking for signs in the sky signaling the birth of a new king of the Jews is considered religious in a generally positive and serious way, rather than pagan.
