Christine, I do not want to get into this "discussion" particularly, since it strikes me as not going anywhere toward a resolution. However, the "men looking for signs in the sky" of note were the Magi, who were not looking for the King of the Jews--they were pagans looking for signs of something portentous that might change history, according to legend. There were always Jewish people looking for signs of the King or Great Leader or Messiah of the Jews, looking from the Maccabbees right along to Sabbatai Zevi. You cannot understand this?
