Well .. for my own machine I'm not to concerned ..

It's the overall system that I wonder about.

No business is an island today.

Will there be failures as a result of this Y2K stuff? Yes. How many? Who knows ..

As each one of those fail, they have an impact on their suppliers, customers and employees ..

How much impact? Who knows .. And that's a big question.

Will the resulting rise in unemployment result in a drop in consumer confidence and spending? It could .. depending on the magnitude of the ripple effect.

And I'd sure like to be one of the first to get a good handle on the answer..

All in all .. it's going to be a very interesting new year.
