JT and thread, I'm trying to plan some strategies for this final week of trading in 1999. With Y2K fears, I'm expecting some kind of sell off this week. For my retirement account I am totally on the sidelines right now. I want to buy a S&P indexed mutual fund (no penalty for entrances or exits) with my funds on a serious drop. At what level would you look to buy if you were looking for a "buy on the dip" with recovery in early days of 2000?
Also, how would you buy gold (ie. stock, coins, etc. . ) as a hedge against Y2K problems?
It seems the precious metals market is heating up.
Thanks all.
