Blue, I know that this has become a tremendous source of pride for you, however it seems as though while creating your chart, you have left out some of the biggest winners like GNET, CMGI and DCLK. Please do not subject the readers of this thread to the same bias that you accuse the namesake of. Much like Pete Rose, the Baseball Hall of Fame and the question of his betting on a game I think the important points are being lost here. It is inconsequential to me if the list remained 100% or not. At the time it was prepared, it did not appear to have the significance (i.e. price tag) that it does now. Whatever his picks were, are, or will be, do not negate or even diminish the fact that overall he has shown a great deal of insight and understanding of the internet and the companies who profit (or try to) from it. He has demonstrated solid analysis and provided some reasoning behind his choices. I have always appreciated his willingness to state his choice regarding internet business models. Other analysts like Henry Blodgett, Mary Meeker etc. have made recommendations then backed of, then follow up with more recommendations. Few analysts have shown such success regardless of which stocks you choose to pick for comparison. Call it a hot market, hard work or just plain lucky...but in this last week of 1999 can we please devote some energy to more positive pursuits?
