I am presently in Asia where LQID's Japanese company was listed on the "Mothers" the trading floor of the Tokyo Stock Exchange for (e.g.) internet companies. Liquid Audio Japan traded for the first time at 6.12 million yen ($60,000) a share, more than double the IPO price of 3.0 million. Sellers finally let go of shares of the affiliate of U.S. Web music company Liquid Audio Inc. (LQID: news, msgs) and buyers kept bidding it up, to its maximum daily limit at 6.99 million yen by the end of Friday's session.
