Heinz, I looked the M3 updates in more detail. I thought that perhaps it was the just the SA numbers that were changed. But both the SA and NSA numbers are different this week going back a few years. Also, the M1 and M2 SA and NSA numbers are a little different. It's not a big difference and can probably be ignored. My concern is just that the numbers were different, and it seems unusual to me and I would just like to understand why. I guess the Fed can do whatever it wants to, with consistency not being a high priority. If I notice a large change in the week to week historical numbers I'll let you know.
