Happy holidays, JDN, and welcome them in true style in the (relatively) frigid climes you are experiencing and they deserve. Of course, for most of the stay in Australia, Perth, Western Australia, was in the 80s and 90s. Following the cyclone on Thursday (most powerful to hit the continent--winds upward of 190 mph), Saturday night and Sunday turned cool. Strongly recommend taking some long term profits when it seems appropriate and visiting that land--very gracious people, fantastic diversity of habitats and scapes--underrated cuisine with lots of fish. It's a country of very outdoors/adventure oriented people, if you are into surfing, climbing, scuba, backpacking into the wild, as well as cricket (still don't understand that sport), rugby, rugby union (a different sport from plain old rugby), tennis and golf.
Best to you and your family, Steve |
