Dear PCSS; I am about to commit HERISY (SP?). My advice to CPQ is to FORGET about DELL. PC's on the retail level suck, just a commodity and frankly unless CPQ can get their service record VERY MUCH improved they will be unable to compete against DELL. Hell, I am a CPQ shareholder and plan to buy a DELL ONLY because of their outstanding record for service. So, at least for now CPQ should concentrate on their strenghts and make sure they are IMPREGNABLE there and then if they wish worry around about DELL. IMHO DELL really is a box company but CPQ has the makings of being much more. JDN
