Sure there will be shakeouts and competition... And of course, the first-in's and the giants will probably crush everyone...The future Microsofts of this world will in the end probably gain strong market share and strangle the mom 'n pops.

But do you think that means LESS profitability??! Do you imagine Microsoft is somehow LESS profitable do to the fact that its crushed copetitors?? I personally think new biz models WILL emerge, making mom n pops more money than ever, and eventually those biz's will be subsumed by larger, more efficient orgs that focus on those new niches, and make even more money!

Inflation is obviously the concern... Greater available cash will create greater demand for these goods, and therefore higher prices, etc, possibly world-wide... But in the meantime, both the mom 'n pops and the Walmarts of this world are gonna cash in. Now is the "glorious spring." And summer's right around the corner.
