options newbie tekboy here, just established my first positions Thursday and today:
yqjat (QCOM 500 Jan 02 calls) @165
gsthq (GMST 85 Aug calls) @11.5 & 10
I plan to follow Cha2's "highest up, furthest out" strategy on my two young gorillas, Q and G, with a small portion of my account to give it some upside leverage, replacing that nasty evil margin habit that I slipped into by accident and am trying to shake. :0)
I would love to know when, exactly, the QCOM jan 2003's will become available, and when GMST LEAPS will become available.
