Christmas was good but as always it is a lot of build up for one day of the year. I'm looking forward to New Year and prosperous times ahead for all.

In today's killen report it has two mentions of BLLS. It's good to see the EBPP research leader has a close eye on billserv and finds their progress worthy of print.

billserv.com, AFSA to Provide EBPP for Student Loans

(From billserve.com) SAN ANTONIO, TX - December 20, 1999 - billserv.com, Inc., an EBPP service bureau, today announced it has entered into a customer agreement with AFSA Data Corporation to provide EBPP services for AFSA, the nation's largest student loan servicing company. AFSA's customers will be able to view their bills and make student loan payments online, creating a convenient and efficient bill payment method. AFSA processes more than 27 million loan payments annually...

Through its formal relationships with all major EBPP consolidators, including CheckFree Corporation, TransPoint and Bank of America, billserv.com will enable AFSA customers to view and make loan payments at a wide variety of front-ends. The EBPP system is expected to be available to AFSA customers in March 2000, following a one-month pilot phase.

Intermountain Gas Company to Offer EBPP on New Website

Intermountain Gas Company is a Boise, Idaho-based provider of natural gas service, serving over 200,000 customers in southern Idaho.

Intermountain plans to launch a transaction-based website in Spring 2000, offering EBPP services. In addition to viewing and paying bills online, Intermountain customers will be able to place service orders, access their account
information and receive customer service. Intermountain currently sends more than 200,000 paper bills per month...
