Now wait a minute Mark, we can debate prices all day, but I don't know where you are getting your FACTS from. Wind River has made a huge hiring and R&D effort and has made no, that is 0, acquisitions in the near past. I' m not sure about the hiring statistics, but I believe that their workforce grew 50% last year. You might refer to www.wrs.com for more info. At least they can get their new product out and even a new version before the competition can even spit out pRISM. Are you confusing WIND with INTS? Statements like this just challenge your credibility.
As far as a buyback, this would be a questionable tactic as they just raised that cash last July at a price of 27 pre-split or 18. After costs it would be silly to buy back those shares now. That would be mismanagement. I assume they raised that cash for something. I guess we still have to wait and see on that. But we can be thankful that WIND was wise enough not to acquire any companies with that cash "pre-crash" Also I assume that it would not be Jerry Fiddler making those kinds of decisions but Ron Abelmann. If you don't know who the players are it's kind of hard to do play-by-play.
