that would be logical...i'm considering a new theory: what if the underlying theme moving the market is still deflation and not inflation? if so, higher yields would be an indication of the unwinding of deflationary fears, and thus bullish for stocks. it's just a thought, i'm trying to come up with an explanation for the continued de-coupling of bond and stock markets. certainly it's the deflation proxy stocks that are doing best...
