1987 was the same way... we are experiencing deflation, but within deflation individual currecnies implode (ex- asia in 1997) causing inflation from that currency's perspective and the Fed has made it clear that it will print so the dollar is doomed too. Deflation is about credit collapse and currency attack until all move to the only currency that is nobody's debt... GOLD.
