AJIC TO PUBLISH STUDY ON ZICAM

WOODLAND HILLS, Calif. (Dow Jones)--Gel Tech LLC's Zicam homeopathic cold remedy reduced the duration of a common cold by an average of 85% in a study. Gel Tech is a joint venture between GumTech International Inc., (GUMM) and BioDelivery Technologies Inc. Gel Tech said Monday in a press release the nasal solution "significantly" reduced the severity of colds including nasal congestion, sneezing, coughing, and sore throat. Results of the study will be published in the American Journal of Infection Control. GumTech makes over-the-counter drugs.

I read this on Yahoo and thought at first that it was a hoax. But I just called Elizabeth Souder's office, Dow Jones Newswires, and spoke to Ms. Inkyung Kim. She said that the story is true and that it was on DJ Newswire. The only problem is that this is a pay subscription service so I can't post a link to the article. If anyone subscribes to DJ Newswire, please go to djinteractive.com and see for yourself that the article is there. WOW, AJIC must have changed their mind!!! Ms. Kim said that the article might also appear in the online edition of the Wall Street Journal or the paper version. It's true! I verified it.
