I would assume that the Teck delisting is just a function of the re-alignment of the exchanges. They are too big a firm to qualify for the junior exchange. The large mining concerns only held VSE listings because of their presence in the city. Volumes were always didly as institutions etc traded on TSE.

It is interesting that there is no money on the table, rather just assistance to take it to the next level. It could result in a better price if they have good results. Personally i would almost welcome the old Barrick approach of swooping in early, cash in hand is ..... as the saying goes.

Weird that Teck would be buying, they have a first refusal on the reserve asset. Based on the release they would not be acquiring the company.

I would suggest that HDG has a crap load of shares to sell; once out of a deal i suspect the feeling is to just cut loose and run. There could be some continued sale side pressure, HOWEVER tax loss selling is basically over.
