John, three cheers for Gretchen Morgenson. The old change-a-rooni from 2Q'99 reared its head again in the NYT: nytimes.com I.D.T., a telecommunications company, and Trump Hotels and Casino Resorts have raised eyebrows, as have several banking companies. And early this year, Micron Technology surprised investors by reporting a different number in its filing with regulators from what it had in its first press report. The company said the change was not material and did not merit a revised statement to the press. Ah, those darn, pesky "cyber-slueths" <g>. Good trading, Tom
