TigerPaw: Trust your own judgement - but keep checking.. That is the first rule of investing. The second is to be sure that you can sleep at night with your choices. The advantage of gorillas and kings is that it is perhaps easier to sleep at night with the right set of choices among them.

For some of us, the Q and JDSU (to pick one gorilla and one king) makes sleeping at night very easy. The exploding growth of their technological position makes that a no brainer.
