charred, Many people fail to see thew impact of a 3% NSR and equate it with a royalty on profits. 3% of all minerals extracted before deduction of any costs is a killer. many mines run at 12-15% profit and a 3% NSR can eat up 50% or more of that. The true impact varies and a rich mine can tolerate it. More data needed before this can be determined.
If many wanted it and PFG had to win an auction....then PFG must live withthat, live or die.
As to funds to mine it? no problemo as long as the economic study shows it to be a valid proposition the funds can be borrowed, even in thse bleak times, and a sellout is also possible once all is known.
