Hey coug ..

How's it going ..

Sounds like you have your back up heating system all set up <g>

Non story?? well .. some things will break down .. that's a given .. it's just what is the magnitude going to be ..

Seems like everybody (almost) is content to believe whatever the government is going to tell them... not me.

I'm glad to be able to be a part of the SI global community. That way I'm able to get, first hand, what's taking place over the far reaching corners of this little blue marble..

My hope is that this thread will be a "one stop shopping center" for dammage reports.

All in all I don't think it'll be all that bad .. however I would like to get an idea of the magnitude of the event as it takes place ..

'Course some of the reporting may be a bit sloppy, given it'll be new year's eve <g>

Always wanted a generator .. I figure that about 1/30/00 they should be able to be picked up pretty cheap! Second hand .. unused.

Does your Cherokee talk to you? If it does it might tell you that it's been 99 years since it's been serviced .. it'll probably still run .. although it just might retune itself for existing EPA regulations<g> kinda like those caddies that had higher horsepower if you turned on the AC<g>.

Good luck to you also ..

Gersh
