Mr. Rational sounds like a doomer! <gg> A big problem may be America has been told too often there is no problem. Are we prepared? Will Americans be tough enough? I corresponded with a friend last night. Someone we all know and respect. He said he is sad, frustrated, and angry that the government has gone to such incredible lengths to discourage people from making even modest preparations. He also said, "It's a incredible gamble and I hope they turn out to be right..." If you read Ed Yourdans' essay last night he mentioned there may be unforseen actions.... ----------------------------------------------------------------------- I think if the government is wrong retribution might be terrible! Remember the Naval College Report? There were scenarios mentioned that would make any politician shiver with fear. I pray and hope my fears are groundless. Runner
