Brothers and sisters,

I'm not sure if y'all remember a little girl that I had asked prayer for last year. Her name is Amelia, she's 5 years old now and has cancer. She was getting better last year, but in the last few months she is getting much worse. The doctors have given her no chance of survival and she's living off of blood transfusions now. For Christmas her parents flew her to see her grandparents (who are very elderly), because they knew this would be the last time they'd get to see her. This little girl's mother used to teach in our local Christian school a few years back and is one of the strongest Christians that I've ever met. It's just gut wrenching to watch a child have to go through what this poor little girl is having to go through. I never question why God does what He does, but surely he must have a plan for this.

I just asked that you would join me in praying for this little girl and her family. She won't be around long.

Dear Lord,

I ask that you would be with Amelia and her family, as they both go through this difficult time. I pray that you would especially be with Amelia and comfort her and wrap your loving arms around her. I pray especially dear Lord, that you would cause your little to child to come to know you in a personal way, if she doesn't. I also pray that you'd heal her physically if it be your will, almighty God.

In Jesus precious name I pray......Amen.
