Are you saying NT is overvalued in comparison to Cisco and Lucent? I would say that the gap has closed between NT and the others. The next question becomes--how are NT's business prospects going forward when compared to Lucent and Cisco.
I would think Cisco and NT would be the 2 prefered choices.

I also believe that NT deal with AT&T wireless also sent a message to the markets. AT&T now giving business also to NT and not just to its "baby" Lucent.
NT has also been making a lot of very positive press releases about its business and product developments.

They have certainly alleviated a lot of Y2K worries among their investors. I certainly would not hold this stock if i thought it could suffer a bad quarter due to Y2K. They will at least meet their estimates.

The analyst community along with journalists like Jubak are now hyping this stock.
When momentum takes over, the stock can go up very fast. Momentum is my investment style but the company i would pick has to be one that will not disappoint in earnings.
I would also hold it as a long term investment but with a smaller position. I want to add BCE soon.

IMHO, the momentum is now building. We shall see how high it goes in the coming few weeks. My guess it that we will take out 125 before the earnings.

Good Luck.
